Things have been going pretty well. If you
hadn't noticed, we've upgraded our forums and
they are amazing if I may say so myself.

11. Everyone on the CAL team MUST START
PLAYING MORE OFTEN, MYSELF INCLUDED! We have
practices every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday@
8:30 Eastern! CAL TEAM MEMBERS MUST SHOW UP AT
2 OF THESE A WEEK OR THEY WILL BE REMOVED!!!
(There are some exceptions)
As for the
rest of you nubs, get on vent and play more
please. We really need to get more active.
I'll be on vent pretty much EVERYDAY, I expect
to see most of you a few times a week even if
its just for a few minutes.

Fw Turns
On The Shadow Hacks...
I am pleased
to announce that Fw|- is turning on the Shadow
hacks! We have started actively working on and
building the clan up.
This
includes PROMOTIONS, SITE UPDATES, ROSTER
CLEANING, FORUM CLEANING, ACTIVE RECRUITMENT,
A BOOST IN SERVER USE, ACTIVITY IN
LEAGUES/LADDERS, THE RETURN OF FRIDAY NIGHT

Anyone who
has not been on our vent server or playing
with us has either been removed from the
roster or listed as inactive. See the roster
for more info.
Active
Recruitment
We are now actively
recruiting. This does not mean you go to other
servers and recruit players; we don't recruit
on other people's servers. On the other hand,
this does mean that if you know anyone or if
you are asked about joining, send them to our
forums to apply. Also, Shadow and I are going
on a recruitment campaign on multiple forums
etc. Our most effective recruitment will be
done via our server so please play there
whenever you can.
Boost In Server
Use
We'd like our server
to become a popular place that people want to
be on. This has happened most every time we've
actually gotten a few members on it. Do your
part to make our clan better! Play on the
server whenever you can!
Leagues and
Ladders
We are officially
joining CEVO soon. Also, we have three 2v2 TWL
teams. If you are interested in either of
these, please contact us.
Clan Night &
Friday Night Firefight
Clan Night is back!!!
We will be meeting on vent and playing select
mods every Saturday night at 10:00pm EST!
Server space will be done first come first
serve. Check the forums each week for the
theme of the week.
Feel free to join the
Friday Night Firefight scrimathon every Friday
at 10:00pm EST! You'll need to sign up on the
forums each week.

New
Horizons...
Well, its
official, we've left CAL. I can hardly believe
how many forfeiting teams there were in CAL.
It is obscene. We only got to play 1 match out
of 5 simply because the other teams don't
show.
So that is a
bit depressing, but the good news is, we're
joining some other competitions. Currently, we
are entering the TWL 2v2 Ladder and we plan on
getting into the TWL 5v5 Ladder soon.
Actually, we have 3 separate TWL 2v2 teams in
the ladder:
So,
you could call our TWL 2v2 Ladder teams MTV if
you want to.
Also, we are
entering the next season of CEVO when it
starts here in a few weeks.
That is
pretty much everything in the way of
competition. Oh, by the way, we have converted
our GGDM to a Pub and our Pub (100 Tick
Boosted) to a dedicated scrim server.

An Update...
Hey all!
Just updating the news a bit. CAL is going
well; we're scrimming a bunch. Bluewolf is
lookin at scheduling weekly events for teh
clan. Shadow has released his Counter-Strike
Chronicals (I was in it xD) and yet another
pwnage video...
So
everything is going pretty well. I'm not sure
what else there is to update on...be sure to
play on our servers!
Oh, and BTW,
sorry about the conflict on vent Monday night.
It shouldn't have gone the way it did. I'm
just glad it seems like everything worked
itself out.

CAL-O
Preseason
Today we
played our first CAL match, the preseason.
We'd all been a bit nervous about the match
for the past 24 hours. Abstract informed us
that he had finals and couldn't play. No
problem, school takes suite over CSS. We'll
just have Slushy fill in for him. Nope, Slushy
has a hockey game. What about Reeder? He isn't
around. K, well then its up to NightMare. Hope
his connection works. 2 Hours before the
match, Shadow says he has to go somewhere at 7
(30 minutes before the match) and prolly cant
get out of it. Everyone was getting pretty
ticked and cranky.
Turns out
Shadow made it, and NightMare didn't have any
connection troubles.
We played
the first half of the match as T. Disastrous.
Hardly any team work; we were getting mad and
losing our heads. The score was 3 - 9.
Second half,
we're doing pretty well. We won a few rounds.
But no legal defuse! +1 for them. The score
ended up 11 - 11 and the final two rounds.
Magic loses connection.... We lose one round
and win the next.
Overtime, we
need to win 4 out of 6 for a victory. We start
off as CT. Half ends 3 - 0. We swap to T; lost
the first round. Second round is another rush
to B! VICTORY!!!!!!
Final Score
13 - 12

officially on the CAL team. Not just filling
in for Ab this one time. I can't say if you'll
be a back up or primary yet, but your on.

Moving
Forward
Things are
moving along nicely. Our new 12 Man 100 Tick
128 FPS Server from ClutchKill.com is working
pretty well. We're planning on making that
server our GGDM and then we'll get a 12 Man
100 Tick 512 FPS (ZZOMGOSH!) for Pub/Scrims.
CAL starts
next Monday, so we need to pull the team
together ASAP. Anyone who wanted to tryout
MUST talk to me and set up a time before
Friday.

CAL, CAL
Tryouts, And New Server(s)
Hey all! I'm
pleased to announce that we are joining CAL
Season 10. The bad news is CAL starts on the
14th, in 10 days.
We only have
3 full time players on the CAL team and need
at least 1 more full time and a part time
player if we want to qualify. So, we're
holding tryouts for the CAL team. Tryouts are
tonight, Friday the 4th, at 10:00PM EST -
12:00AM or 1:00AM. I realize this is short
notice, but we don't have a lot of time before
CAL starts. If you can't make it tonight but
still want to tryout for the CAL team, let me
know and we'll see what we can work out.
Also, due to
some problems with GameServers, we've changed
server providers. Clutch Kill Gaming Servers
is now hosting a 12 Man 100 Tick 128 FPS
Server. If all goes well, we will purchase a
2nd server from Clutch Kill in the next week
or so. That server will most likely be a 12
Man 100 Tick 512 FPS Boosted Server. The 128
FPS server will then become our GGDM and the
512 FPS will be our Pub/Scrim.

Hey all!

pushing forward. Our server is becoming quite
active, we're making a clan promo video, and
we're preparing to join CAL-O for season 10!
Shadow is
hosting practices Monday - Thursday @ 7:00PM
EST on our server. Also, we're trying to hold
clan nights every Sat. Just hop on the server
around 9EST or 10PM EST.

Things are going
well
Things are
going quite well. We're approaching 20 members
already. We've won both of our official
scrims. Hopefully we'll start SWL soon or join
CAL. Don't forget to attend atleast 1 hour of
clan practice a week. Practices are Mon -
Thurs at 9:00 EDT (GMT-4).
