About Us
Our desire is to create a fun and clean
gaming community that people of all kinds
and ages can enjoy. We are not a Christian
clan, but rather a clan of Christians.
Though we are not out to "convert"
everyone, we do want to show the world that
loving Jesus doesn't make you an old
lady praying around a table and singing old
hymns. We want to show them that
the stereotypic Christian is far from
reality, and that there are many ways
of praising God. Including this clan.
{SoI} Soldiers of Iluvatar was formed on
September 9th 2006 by Mandos, Darkmaniac7,
and Snowtroopa. Due to various technical
problems and a loss of interest, both
Darkmaniac7 and Snowtroopa moved on in
December of '06 and January of '07. Mad Dog
Rob signed on in December of 2006 and made
it up to Lt.Col.(Co-Leader). With his help,
we continued running the clan and went into
CAL-O. We were very unprepared and did
rather poorly. After CAL, a few members
began to slow down and stop playing. Mad Dog
got very busy in the spring of 2007 and then
entered university. He no longer had the
time to Co-Lead or even play anymore. In
September, Mandos was the only remaining
leader and he decided that he couldn't run
the clan alone. {SoI} disbanded for 6 days
and then we reformed as Fw|- Fallen Warriors
on the 7th of August 2007. Mandos still
leads the clan and Shadow was his Co-Leader.
Because the breakup was so short, we
consider it a vacation. In other words, we
"reformed" we didn't really break up.
Shadow had held back the death of {SoI} for
several weeks and for this he received an
award, the clan "Medal of Honor.
Shadow's actions may have very well saved {SoI}
long enough for Fw|- to become possible.
We'd like to now acknowledge all of the
original members from those first few weeks
and months that stuck with us.
Magic is the only
member that stuck around from the first few
weeks and haven't ever backed out (besides Mandos).
